 Bobby Kimball  Status updates

I wish the best day to all of my Friends. I just got back from Germany where I attended "The Frankfurt Music Messe". It was so fun, and two times I went to the Yamaha Piano Building and played and sang songs for a lot of people. I had a very fun time there, and I love that Event every time I go there. I moved to Frankfurt Germany in 1985 until 1992, and that is when I met the CEO of The Music Messe, Wolfgang Lücke. We have been absolutely great friends for a very long time. It was so fantastic to see him again this year. That "Frankfurt Music Messe" is similar to The NAMM Convention, but it is much larger than NAMM. The last day there, I took a Photo with Wolfgang, and I want you to see it.......Bobby

I was going to Tunisia tomorrow, but since I was going through Paris, the Promoter sent me a message and told me that France had so many Terrorist, and it would be danger to go there. I'll go to Tunisia quite later now....Bobby

That's surprising. They've definitely had their share of terrorist attacks, but I don't think they're on any kind of international advisory list.

Hello My Friends. I'll be going back to Tunisia North Africa on April 26th to do some huge Promotion for that Video that I was on there last time. There will be 200 very important Interviewers from TV Shows, Radio, Magazines, and News Papers, and they will do some important Interviews to Promote that Video. I will also bring all of the information about my New Solo CD as well, because I want to have them Promote my Solo CD all over the World for me. I'll be there until May 1st. Then, I'll go to Bulgaria and do a Concert on May 2nd. I think this will be a good trip for me........Bobby

Hello my Friends. I was in Tunisia North Africa for 10 days recording a Video with a French girl who wrote a Song and sang it in Spanish. She asked me to come over and sing the Chorus of the song Africa, but her Verse Version did not sound anything like the Verse of Africa. Here is a Link that you can see her Video on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_dptcCHkcw%C2%A0

Wonderful Greetings to you my Friends. Tomorrow I am going to Munich Germany, then I will be brought to Tutzing about 30 miles from Munich. That is where Leslie Mandoki's home and Studio are, and I'll be in Tutzing for about 8 days. I will Record some Vocals on Leslie's Songs for his next Album and then do 2 days of Rehearsals with his Band. I was the very first Singer on Leslie's first Album. He Hired so many wonderful Singers to Record Vocals, and that was so fun. After the 8 days in Tutzing, we will go and play a Concert in Paris France on March 1st. Then, we go to London and do the next Concert on March 3rd. Then, we leave London and go to Berlin and play a Concert on march 6th. I'm sure this will be very fun, because it always is fun. I'll Post some Photos of some pictures on Leslie's Soulmates CDs. I'll take some Photos at those Concerts and Post them on this Page. I hope you will like them......Bobby

In 2014, I was asked to go to Italy to "The FIM Awards Contest". That is a Contest where they had about 200 Singers starting at about 8:00am, and I went onstage about 11:00pm. After I Sang a few Songs, the Mayor of that City and some of his Officers came onto the Stage, and handed me the Award that you can see in this Photo. There were about 200 Singers that day, but this Award has the best thing written on the Award Stand. I was the only one who received this Award, and I was so Happy to get it, and be aware of what the Officers and Mayor were telling me on this Award. It says: Bobby Kimball FIM AWARD 2014 Legend Of Rock "BEST VOICE" This made me so Happy, and I've been asked to come to The FIM Award Contest again soon.............Bobby/Users/robertkimball/Desktop/FIM Award 2014.JPG

I was in Cologne Germany Singing some Vocals with a very good girl that could Sing very well. After I finished Singing what they wanted me to, I went into the Control Room, and there was a great Kurzweil Piano in there. There was a boy by that Piano named Martin Morgenstern, and he works for Kurzweil. He just asked me to play that Kurzweil for a moment, and I do love those Pianos. A good friend of mine, Philipp Maier, who is an Orchestral Conductor and Music Arranger, and plays Piano, and he played with me for a few minutes. He was the one who hired me to Sing with that Vocalist Girl on Philipp's Song. When I got back home, Kurzweil gave me a new Piano for free. I love my new Piano. I'll try to give you the YouTube Link Martin Posted on the Kurzweil Facebook. I hope that "you", my good friends are living a wonderful life these days. Take care.........Bobby: Bobby Kimball jams on Kurzweil Forte SE!

Hello all of my fantastic Friends. I was having to search some things in my Filing Cabinet last night, and I saw some Photos that I thought i would like to Post on my FaceBook Page. I'm sure that most of you realize that Me, Bill Champlin, Jason Scheff, and Joseph Williams did two Acapella CDs a long time ago. and I have to tell you that it was absolutely fantastic fun for me. I loved Singing with all of those guys, and the CD was so wonderful. We took some Photos while we took a few Breaks while we were recording, and last night I found 2 of those Photos. I would like to Post them on My FB Page, and I want you to see them....Bobby

I had so much fun Singing with Joseph Williams, Bill Champlin, and Jason Scheff on these CDs. There were no Instruments being played on these CDs, but because there were 4 good Singers there, we all created the Music Vocally, and the Percussion with our Hands Clapping, and feet stomping. The Music sounded so fantastic to me, and it was always so fun. All of us sang some Lead Vocals for many of the Songs that we created the Tracks on. If you ever get a chance to buy any of these CDs, I think you would really enjoy hearing how the Music Tracks and Lead Vocals Sounded when we didi them. I hope you all enjoy these Songs and the Tracks that we Sang the Instruments for the Songs.......Bobby

Good day to all you Kimball fans. First off, this post might be somewhat long but I don't care. Bobby is an amazing talent. I think it is very disrespectful to read things about someone I've idolized for a few years now. Let me set this straight.
Posted on Sun., Jun. 12, 2016 - 5:09 PM

Bobby is near his 70th year of life and I respect him so much knowing that he loves to perform. I've seen lots of videos of his performances over the last few years since he left Toto. Yes, his vocals might NOT be what they used to be. And he might not sound like he did back in the 70s. But its called aging and he's put a lot of effort into sounding the best he can. Every time I read a hurtful comment about him, or his voice, I just want to take that person and put them in their place. But like Bobby says, "stay happy and love each other." I follow his words. I keep my comments to myself but it hurts knowing that I have to think of someone who has NO IDEA what it is like to be in the business for 40+ years and do the type of singing Bobby does.
Posted on Sun., Jun. 12, 2016 - 5:08 PM

I too am a musician and he set the bar for someone like me. And Bobby has given me a lot to be grateful for. For any haters out there, let's see YOU do the work he's done and see if your vocal powers are any better. I've received ONE private message from Bobby and it is truly remarkable to keep that message to my heart. I'd give anything on this planet to shake his hand, give him a hug, and thank him for all the years he's put into his music. I'd fly anywhere in the world to spend 24 hours with him. To see him live in concert would thrill me to the bone in hopes he returns to my home state of Illinois. But most importantly, if I could play live with him or play drums on tour or on an upcoming album, I'm all for it. I'm a message or phone call away to any future work together.
Posted on Sun., Jun. 12, 2016 - 5:06 PM

All in all Kimball fans, he is truly a pioneer of his craft. He is flawless with his craft. And Bobby, if you happen to see this, just know that this message is to let you know that I care about you and your work. Forget those that hate. Enjoy fans like me who want to see you continue your success. I appreciate all you do. I hope to meet you soon and tell you MY story. You are part of my music journey. And as I celebrate 20 years of music later this year, YOU are part of my history. I thank you "from the top of your heart, to the bottom of your soul." God bless Bobby, and here's to hopes that you and I sit down and create together. :) Forever a fan and future friend, Kurt Fosnaugh

Hello all of my good Friends. The Solo CD that I Co-Wrote with one of my Best Friends (John Zaika), who I Co-Wrote the "All I Ever Needed" CD that we released in 1999, is now Finished and almost completely Mastered to be released.....Bobby
Posted on Wed., May. 18, 2016 - 7:32 AM

John is a very fun guy to Co-Write Songs for a Solo CD with. I'm going to let all of you know when we are going to release this new Solo CD. We need to create a Name for this CD, and I do like the Songs on this CD. I hope all of you will like it too. After we release this Solo CD, I'm going to record another Solo CD of Songs that I Wrote during the 80's, and I wanted to put those songe on the "Toto" CDs. So many Members had Songs to offer to put on each of those CDs, I still have about 20 Songs that I Wrote in the 80's, and these Songs are very much like most of the Songs that were on the "Toto" CDs in the 80's....Bobby
Posted on Wed., May. 18, 2016 - 7:31 AM

I think these Songs are some of the very best Songs that I have ever written, and I'm planning to record about 12 or 15 of those Songs on a New Solo CD after John and I release the next Solo CD. I think that when I release the Solo CD of those 80's Songs that I was writing for "Toto" CDs, will be the very best Solo Album I've ever released. I absolutely love all of those Songs, and I'm sure you will care a lot for them too when you hear them. I can't wait to record about 12 of those 20 Songs that I Wrote during the 80's. They are the best Songs I've ever written. Some of those Songs will be recorded for My Movie that will be Filmed beginning in September of 2016 in Louisiana....Bobby
Posted on Wed., May. 18, 2016 - 7:30 AM

. It's a True Story, and I love the way the Screen-Play improved the Story that I wrote. When you hear the recordings of most of these Songs, I'm sure you will like them a lot. I hope you will go and see My Movie with some of these Songs in it, because it's a great Story and the Producer will do a very great job on Filming My Movie. The Movie is called; "Tanner's Song", and another Song that I wrote with Tommy Denander, is called: "Living Your Life For Happiness", and that will be the Sub-Title of My Movie. Both of those Songs will be in the Film. Several other Songs will also be in my Movie too. The Producer is going to begin Filming My Movie in September, and it will get done very fast. I'll keep everyone informed about when the Movie will be released too. I'm sure you will like this Story, because it's a True Story that you will learn some great things from. Take care my Friends..............Bobby.

I had so much fin doing that whole Tour. However, the Concert that I did in Imst, Austria, the Band that played before I went onstage, was "Taj Mahal". I thought they were such a fantastic Band. I know you will really like what you hear that he does. I hope all of you keep feeling the best that you can..............Bobby

Good day to you, my Friends. I hope everyone is doing the best that they possibly can. I've just gotten back from "The Frankfurt Music Messe" yesterday, and it was some very fantastic fun. I sang with 3 Bands there, and I did one Concert in the middle of Frankfurt without a Band,... just me on the Piano, and Singing Songs. I loved being at The Frankfurt Music Messe.....Bobby

I took some Photos at the Festival, and I would like to let you see them. Some of them are very funny, and I like all of these Photos. The first one is Don Kerry, Marco Mendosa, and Me. Don is a great Agent from Belgium, and Marco is a wonderful Bass Player, and great Singer. The 2nd Photo is Me and a very good friend, Wolfgang Lucke (The CEO of The Frankfurt Music Messe).....Bobby

It sounded very good. The next Photo is a large 6-foot-tall picture of Steve Lukather on the Wall of The Guitar Section in The Yamaha Building.I thought it was a great Photo of Steve. The last 2 Photos are of a Booth that was selling Bass Guitars that looked like a Naked Woman. I laughed when I saw these. I sent these Photos to Leland Sklar today. If you can ever go to The Frankfurt Music Messe, I'm sure you would have a fantastic time. I hope you like these Photos............Bobby

Greetings to everyone on my Official Face Book Page. I wanted to let all of you know that March 29th is my Birthday, and I'm certain I will have a Fantastic Day on Tuesday. I know that some of you are aware that my "Lexus Grand Sport 450 Hybrid Car" was Crashed by a large Motorcycle on March 13th. I was making a Left Turn into a Deli Parking Lot after only one car headed my direction, had come past my Car while I was stopped in the middle of the road.
Posted on Tue., Mar. 29, 2016 - 2:58 AM

Nothing else coming my way was visible, so I made a Left Turn, and the front of my Car was about 2.5 feet up the entry Ramp into the Deli Parking Lot. Suddenly, I noticed a large Motorcycle about 25 feet from my Front Passenger Door, speeding at about 90 Miles Hour, but possibly even faster. One second later, he rammed into my Front Passenger Door, and crushed my whole Passenger side. I'm so happy I didn't have a Passenger, because they could have died when he hit my car going that fast. As soon as he rammed my Door, he flew over my Car, and landed about 30 feet on the other side.
Posted on Tue., Mar. 29, 2016 - 2:57 AM

Since he was going so fast, it was impossible to see him coming from about a block away when I was turning. While he was laying on the street 30 feet from my car, I went and asked him 3 times if he could tell me how bad he was injured, but he said nothing. An Ambulance didn't get there until 40 minutes after the accident. He never said one word, or moved one inch. They took him to a Hospital, and I hope he is much better now. After the Police arrived, they realized that since the Motorcycle was going so fast for a whole Block, there was no way I could have seen it coming my way. Also, when they saw the severe crash damage it did to my Car, they were absolutely certain that the Bike was moving at least 90 Miles Per hour. The Speed Limit was 35 Miles Per Hour, and he could have stopped his Bike before the hit me if he had been going the Legal Speed Limit.
Posted on Tue., Mar. 29, 2016 - 2:56 AM

After the Ambulance took him to the Hospital, I started my Car again, and put it in gear, but my Car would not move an inch then. I had to get my Car towed to a Car Body Shop to see how bad it was. 5 days later, they told me that since the Motorcycle crashed my Car going so fast, it also bent the Car Frame, and therefore my Car was then "Totaled". I have now found a New Lexus that I am going to buy tomorrow for my Birthday Present. I love this New Car that I'll own tomorrow. I also loved my Car that got Totaled in that accident. Just wish me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and Please keep Living Your Whole Life doing only things that will make you, and keep you as HAPPY as you can be. I love all of you, and I wish you my very best....Bobby

I just got an Offer to sing 12 of the most Famous Ray Charles songs on a Tribute CD soon. I'm so happy that I'll be recording this CD with Ray Charles's Daughter, Sheila Charles. Ray was my favorite Musician when I first heard him when I was 5 years old. He was very convincing for me to become a musician the very first time I heard him on the Radio.I just did a video to advertize this CD on this NuMuBu Page..................Bobby.

I was just looking at some Questions that my Friends asked me, and I read the Answers that I told them. I have to tell you, I enjoyed giving those Answers to those Questions that I liked. Here are some of the Questions & Answers for you to see.....Bobby

1.(Is there one musical leader in the band or does everyone have a voice in things?) We all play the roles we’re best at in this band. We don’t really have a musical leader, because each one of us has a special thing we do to make things happen. Each of these aspects are just as important as the other. This way, was don’t have to follow anyone’s orders, or bow to any demands made by a single person. If that day should ever surface, this will be the “end of the band” as we know it. This is what tears most bands apart, and I don’t want to be involved with this sort of non-sense. If we can’t go onstage and all be eye-to-eye on everything, there’s no need to be there. It’s the best way to keep everyone working toward a common cause and it keeps all of the members happier..Bobby

2. (How is it like to be on the road again in a real band-surrounding and don’t you think there will come a time you don’t like being on the road anymore?) At this point of the game, we work very hard to tour. We don’t have a crew with us, nor a lot of the luxury items, like a sleeper bus and lots of people to help us get things done. It’s a hard job, but the more we work at it, the better times will become. We concentrate mostly on the music, so the extra work is just part of our daily routine at the moment. I can’t imagine a time when I don’t want to tour or make music, because it’s the very thing that keeps me happy and feeling so alive these days..Bobby
Posted on Tue., Feb. 16, 2016 - 12:41 AM

3. (What are the reactions you hope for when you are standing in front of a crowd?) That’s an easy answer. I love it when the crowds stand up and come to the stage and get involved with the music. I love being close to the audience,..close enough to touch them, and having all of them singing along with the band. ..Bobby

4.(Your schedule is certainly full of business dates every touring day. In times when you don’t have to give interviews, do a show or recordings: What are your favourite “leisure time” activities to entertain yourself?) This is the time I do my very best to get the much needed rest I’ve missed on the hardest work days. I also try to catch up on my e-mail and stay in touch with all of the different businesses I’m involved with. There is very little leisure time on the road while touring, so you have to take advantage of every moment possible to take a break from the insanity that comes with touring...Bobby
Posted on Tue., Feb. 16, 2016 - 12:40 AM

5.(What are the two things you are the most passionate about in life?) I would have to say one is writing and playing music. It’s the very thing that keeps me going in this life. I love the way it makes me feel, and the effect it has on the people who are there listening to it. I would have to say the other is being at home with my best friend, my two dogs, and my Koi Fish. It’s a very peaceful atmosphere for me, and that is the most comfortable place for me to be when I get a break from Touring/Writing/Recording....Bobby
Posted on Tue., Feb. 16, 2016 - 12:39 AM

6.(Since many passionate fans won’t stop asking for it: Do YOU still see yourself as a part of a possible TOTO reunion for a final "Farewell gig" AFTER the summer tour 2010?) I don’t think that will be up to me to decide, but you can be absolutely certain, I would love to be a part of that occasion. As I said, Toto is my favorite band ever, and it’s always a great pleasure to sing with them for any reason. I would love that to happen....Bobby
Posted on Tue., Feb. 16, 2016 - 12:39 AM

7.(You have been an inspiration for many people, be it musicians or just music lovers. Being successful in the music business asks for a lot of passion and hard work. If you could give just ONE additional advice, what would it be?) Work as hard as you can to be the very best you can be at what you do in music. If you’re a singer, listen to the very best singers you can and try to do what they do. Then take a tiny portion of that and make it your own. Also, never let anyone stop you because they don’t like what you’re doing.

If you do things differently than everyone else, that makes you unique, and if you have the will power, you can develop it into a new sound, and possibly a new form of music....................: It was fun Answering these Questions back in 2010, and I still think I would give the very same Answers to Questions like these. I hope all of you, My Friends, are doing very well, and please "Keep Living Your Life Only For HAPPINESS". Take care, and keep in touch...........Bobby

Good day to all of my Friends. I'm going to Post some Photos of when I was in New Orleans........Bobby
Posted on Sun., Feb. 14, 2016 - 6:12 AM

I wanted to let all of you know that I've just returned from New Orleans, Louisiana 2 days ago. I went down there to Sing 2 Songs for a Movie that was being Directed by a great Director called "Martin Shore". He hired the very Best Musicians from New Orleans to Record 3 Songs for his Movie, and he got me to Sing 2 of those 3 Songs. I wrote one of those Songs called "Sweet Louisiana", and I also sang "House Of The Rising Sun". All of the Music for his Film was about Louisiana. The Film is called: "Take Me To The River-Part-2". Martin Filmed the first Movie of "Take Me To The River" 2 years ago in Memphis, Tennessee, and it will be released this month, in February 2016.....Bobby
Posted on Sun., Feb. 14, 2016 - 6:11 AM

The first Movie is about all of the Very Best and Most Famous Musicians, Singers, and Music created in Tennessee, especially in Memphis. I looked on Google to see the great Music people from Tennessee, and I saw so many. Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, and so many others. The new Movie that Martin is doing is about the Greatest, and most Famous Musicians, Singers, and Music created in Louisiana, especially in New Orleans. I can't wait for that Movie to be released, because I really want to see it. I have some Photos that I took while I was in New Orleans.....Bobby

While I was there, Mardi Gras was still happening. There were so many Parades, and so Many Thousands of people down there during Mardi Gras. I had a lot of fun while I was in New Orleans for 4 days. My Hotel, The Hyatt Regency was next door to the New Orleans "SuperDome". I took a Photo of that too. I'll Post the Photos that I took while I was there. I hope everyone is doing very great, and being totally HAPPY for everything that they are doing in their Life..............Bobby

Hello to all of my Friends. I hope everyone is doing very well now. I was at NAMM last week, and it lasted from the 21st until the 24th. On Saturday the 23rd, there was a Concert just outside of the NAMM Convention Center just as they closed the Show at 6:00pm. The stage that the Concert was on was just in front of the Convention Center, and there were 6 Singers doing that Show.
Posted on Wed., Jan. 27, 2016 - 9:52 PM

The Photo above has the Singers listed on it. It was such a fun show to do. Also, while I was at NAMM, I met some very nice, and Famous people in the Music Business. I'll Post some photos of them above. I hung out with one of the best Drummers I had ever met. His name is Bernard Purdie. When Jeff Porcaro was doing an Interview one time, he was asked where he had learned the beat that he used on the song "Rosanna". He answered that he learned it from Bernard Purdie.

I also met a very Famous Producer/Engineer guy named Eddie Kramer. Eddie Recorded and Produced many Albums for groups such as: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Kiss, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Peter Frampton, and many others. i also took a Photo of Me with Chuck Negron and Floyd Sneed, who were Original Members of "Three Dog Night". You can see those Photos below this Post. I must say, that it was a great time I had at NAMM this year. I hope you like this Post...........Bobby

I would like to know that all of my Friends are having a wonderful time these days. I've been working on very many Songs for a Movie that I wrote about a True Story that started early in my life. It's about an incredible Friend of mine who taught me the most wonderful things to live my life by. He also taught me the best Rhythm I could have learned when I was just a very young kid.....Bobby
Posted on Tue., Jan. 19, 2016 - 12:51 AM

I wrote a song about him about 42 years ago, and I didn't record it for many years. When I was asked to be Inducted into "The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame" in 2010, I decided to Record the Song I wrote about him before I went to be Inducted in The "Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame". That was a great idea, because that Song became one of the best ever for me. When I came back to LA, I started writing a Book about the Story of his life, and all of the incredible things he had taught me. Soon I decided that it was a Movie, and not a Book. Now, the Screen-Play is done, so the Movie will begin being Filmed in February. I love the Story, and I hope all of you will care about it too....Bobby

That's fabulous news, Bobby! Great that you'll begin filming in February! Congrats!

Tue., Jan. 19, 2016 - 10:56 AM
I'm going to New Orleans on February 7th to Sing some Songs for another Movie down there with the best Musicians from New Orleans. That will be so fun. The first version of this Movie was called "Take Me To The River", and it was Filmed 2 years ago. It will be released at the end of February. The Movie that I'll be Singing songs for is called: "Take Me To The River-Part 2". The 1st Movie is about the Music and Musicians from Memphis, Tennessee. The "Part-2" Movie will be about the Musicians and Music from New Orleans and Louisiana. I know this will be some great fun. I'll keep in touch and let you know how wonderful everything is about this Filming, and how great the Music that those Musicians created. My Producer has informed me that he will begin Filming my Movie the last week of February. That is so exciting for me, and I still have some Songs that I wrote for My Movie, that I need to Record very soon..Bobby
Posted on Tue., Jan. 19, 2016 - 12:48 AM

I will love to get those Recorded, because those Songs fit the Story of My Movie so well. I want to keep all of you informed about how well My Movie is being Filmed, and I will certainly be there to make certain that My True Story the Movie is about, will remain very True. The Producer is really great, and the Director will be great as well. I enjoyed how the ScreenPlay Writer Made the Story very interesting. I can't wait until everything is finished with the Filming of My Movie, and I'll keep everyone up to date on how well the things are going with the Filming they are doing. I pray that all of you will enjoy this Film, and you will know so much about how my life began: "Living My Live For Happiness" at such an early age. My Friend was the person who taught me things such as this.I hope you are all very fine, and I'll keep in touch....................Bobby

Bobby Kimball
I'm going to go to the NAMM Convention in January and spend most of my time there at the NuMuBu Booth. I love being at the Booth, because so many Musicians come to the Booth, and Live Stream on the Instruments that are available at the Booth. I'm going to do some songs this year too. I'm so proud to be on The Board of Directors of NuMuBu. I always let Musicians all over the world while I'm Touring, know about how wonderful NuMuBu is, and I always mention NuMuBu in all of my Interviews outside of the USA. I hope some of you will be a t NAMM this year. See you there................Bobby

I want to wish all of my friends a very good day now. I'm having a wonderful time at the moment, and I'm also having some incredible fun on the last Concerts I have done. I was in Santiago Chile recently, and played one Concert there, and it was so fun, and the crowd came up to me to get some Autographs, and take some Photos, for quite a while, but I do not mind if they want to have those things. just about everyone who I took Photos with and Signed Autographs for, told me that they thought the Concert was very wonderful, and one of their best. I also had a really great time, and I love playing in South America, especially Chile.
Posted on Wed., Dec. 9, 2015 - 4:51 PM

The Crowds there always seem to love all of the Music at Concerts. They are such wonderful people. While I was there, I know a great Singer from Chile called Peter Rock. Peter now is very ill with ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease. I did several Interviews before the Concert, and I always omentioned that Peter was very ill, and I absolutely was trying to get everyone to wish that he would get much better as soon as possible. I'll be going back to South America the first week of February to do about 4 Concerts, and I'm certain it's going t be totally fun. The Agent who books my Concerts down there is a very fantastic friend of mine, and he always gets me the best Venues, and practically all of the Shows are Sold Out. This is very great fun for me, and I love doing his Concerts. I hope everyone is doing incredibly well now, and I'll keep in touch with you all. Take care and please Live Your Whole Life doing everything that will make you very HAPPY........................Bobby

On November 19th, I'll be One of 6 Singers, doing a Concert in Fort Myers, Florida. Good day everyone. I was looking at all of the Photos I have in a File on my Computer, and I just found one that I really liked. It's a Photo of Peter Frampton and Me. On March 24th, both of us played on a TV Show in Paris, France. Peter played on of his famous songs just before I went onstage to sing Rosanna. Our dressing rooms were next to each other, and we had some time to hang out together for a couple of hours during that Show.
Posted on Sun., Sep. 13, 2015 - 6:33 AM

The 1st time I met Peter Frampton was in 1978, when Toto played our 1st two Concerts we ever had done. Toto was the Warm-Up Band for Peter in Oahu, Hawaii at Blaisdell Arena for our 1st two Concerts we ever played as a Band. It was so nice to play those Concerts with Peter, because he is such a nice person, and I love the way he Writes Songs, and Plays and Sings them. Here's the Photo I found............Bobby

Greetings to all of my friends. I found something today I was so amazed to find. Before Toto was going to play their very first Concert at Blaisdell Arena in Oahu Hawaii with Peter Frampton, we stayed at The Kauai Resort Hotel for 2 weeks. While we were there, each night we played 2 Shows in their Club called "The Kahill Room". We played there to rehearse, and make sure we could do a very good 1st Concert. It was a very fun stay for all of us in Toto, and the Band began playing a fantastic Concert. When we left Kauai, we went to Oahu, and did 2 Concerts with Peter Frampton. Both of those Concerts were absolutely incredible.
Posted on Fri., Sep. 11, 2015 - 10:13 AM

Today, I found the "Tourist News" newspaper that I bought in Kauai
on November 21st, 1978. There is an advertisement in this newspaper about Toto playing "The Kahill Room" from November 21st, thru November 30th. I took a Photo of the Front page of the Newspaper, and of the AD about Toto playing in The Kauai Resort Hotel Club. This felt so interesting to me, because this is how Toto got started from the very beginning for our first Tour. Check out these Photos......Bobby

Good evening everyone. Tonight I had a very nice time in LA, because I went to a Concert to Hear "The Average White Band". They sounded fantastic, and after the show, I met the Lead Singer, named Brent Carter. He's a really good person, and such a wonderful singer. I was very happy to meet him, and we had a long chat when he was off-stage. I just got home, and I thought it would be good to Post this Concert Event, and a Photo of Brent and Me. If you ever get a chance to go to one of their Concerts, please do yourself a favor and be there. Here's the photo of us after their Concert.....................Bobby

I told you, my friends, that I would try to take some photos to post on my Page, and I did. I wish they would have allowed me to shoot some photos of the Famous Actors & Actresses at "The VIP Room Party". I had an enormous time at "The Cannes Film Festival", and I also found out that the very first "Cannes Film Festival" began the same year that I was born. It was the "68th Cannes Film Festival", and that also seemed totally astounding to me, because I'm 68 years old. However, I have so much fun doing Tours and Concerts at such wonderful Venues like this, it always makes me feel totally young, and so magnificent. I'm going to post some photos for you now, and I pray that you are all living a MAGNIFICENTLY HAPPY LIFE. If you are, we are together doing that. Please take care, and enjoy your whole life........Bobby

One guy talked to me about an Actress who told him that she was one of my biggest fans. I spoke with her, and found out that she had been in so many Famous Movies. She was a great character in the Movie "Avatar", and her name is Michelle Rodriguez. Things like this made my being at this Festival so phenomenal.

I must say that Singing a Concert at "The Cannes Film Festival" was one of the most fun times of my life. I've been to that Festival a few times, but this was the first time that I did a Concert there. I met so many incredibly Famous Actors, Actresses, Directors, and Producers who had made such famous Movies. There were tons of them at my Concert, and all of them came up to me after the Concert, and told me that I was now their favorite Singer and Musician, which made me feel so sensational, because they were such celebrated people in the Film Industry. The Concert was at a wonderful place named: "The Majestic Barriére Hotel", in the Ball Room. I took some photos of that place, and some others that I'll post on here in a moment. After the Concert, Me and Don Kerry, (who Booked me for this Concert), went to The VIP Room, which was totally jam-packed with Famous Actors and Actresses. No one was allowed to take any Photos there, but I loved going into that Room.

If you want to see the song we did on that TV Show, go to YouTube, and copy this into the Search Box. i wrote this song with my guitarist, Tommy Denander about 2 weeks ago, and this is what they asked us to play. It was very fun. The songs is called: "Living Your Life For Happiness". Soon, we will record a final version of this song which will be about 50% better than the Demo, and I'm sure you may like it. The Lyrics I wrote for it are truly a "Life Lesson" for everyone on this Planet.

I didn't know this, but when I talked to about 50% of the other Singers, they told me that they had the same problem. That was so terrible to try to Sing very well in front of 60,035,000 people when you couldn't hear anything that was happening onstage. I don't hate those people, but if I ever do this again, I'll bring my own Sound Man. however, since it's such a wonderful Festival, I still had a great time being there. They gave me some items after the Show, and I can't wait to go back to that City.

Greetings to you, all of my friends. I just got back from a Tour South America. I was there for about 21 days, and it's always very fun down there. unfortunately, many times when i'm on the Road in certain places, there is no Internet Connection, so I haven't been able to get on my Page for you. We played some Concerts, and then we went to a wonderful City called "Viña del Mar" in the middle of Chile, right on the Pacific Ocean. It's such a beautiful City, and I love it there. They have one of the biggest TV Show Band Competitions in the world there. The audience, each day, is 35,000 people for 3 Shows. All of the artists play on each show, and it's truly fantastic. They also have 60,000,000 TV Viewers for each Show. Unfortunately, the Stage Monitor Crew didn't make the Monitor Sounds even slightly good. I didn't hear the band, and it was very hard to hear myself singing.

When I went to Chicago and played a Concert with Jim Peterik and his incredible Band, I was staying at The Marriott Hotel for 1 night. I booked myself an early flight at 6:00am, so I could get back to LA in time to go back to The NAMM Convention. I was the last singer to perform that night, so I didn't get back to my Hotel until about 2:00am. I asked for a 4:30am Wake-up call, and I had to move my pillow to grab the phone. When I moved my pillow over, I noticed a tiny metal sticker at the bottom of the Head-Board of my bed. When I saw it, I laughed so hard I couldn't believe it. So, I took a photo with my iPhone. Check out what the Metal Sticker had written on my Head-board of the bed...................Bobby

Good day all of my Friends here. I just got home from The Dominican Republic, and I'll be going to South America on Monday to tour until March 1st. I know that is going to be a very fun time dwon there, because tommy Denander and David palau will be playing guitars with my band there. I'll write you from down there, and let you know how great things are going. I may Live-Stream one of the Concerts down there, and I hope you all enjoy this NuMuBu Site.....................Bobby

Greeting to all of my Friends. I just got back from Santo Domingo in The Dominican Republic. I really enjoyed being there, and I would love to go back there soon to do more Concerts. The Concert was at The Hard Rock, and the place was full of people, and they seemed totally awesome when they heard the music. I always love a crowd that gets into the music at My Concert so much. They were singing and dancing while we were playing, and this made me feel very fine. If any of you ever get a chance to visit Santo Domingo, my advice for you is to go there and enjoy the nice people, the great fun places, and so many Beaches everywhere there. Since it was a Hard Rock Venue, I took some pictures by the Stage, of a lot of items they collected from Artists who had played there. Some of them were "Ike & Tina Turner", "Sly Stone", "Jimi Hendrix", "Elvis Presley", and "Elton John".

Hello all of my Friends. I hope everyone is doing great right now. I was at NAMM for only about 6 hours on Friday, the 2nd day of NAMM. I needed to get to the NuMuBu Booth though, so I went ther on January 23rd for 6 hours. Some great Musicians were playing at the booth and Live Streaming a Video out to the Internet. That was great. However, I had to leave early to get to the LA Airport and fly to Chicago to play that Concert with Jim Peterik and his Band. That Band is so phenominal I couldn't believe it. It was so fun singing with them. I was going to return to NAMM when I got back to LA, but it was far too late when we landed. I had a meeting with the owners of NuMuBu the day after NAMM closed though.
Wednesday night, I played at "The Whiskey A-Go-Go", and I had a very great time there. So many of my friends were there, and they said they had fun too. I'll try to Post some photos on this Page as soon as I can. ........Bobby

Bobby Kimball
I wanted to say Hello to Rob Taylor, Clifford Schwartz, and Mark Diamond (These guys are the main Officers and Owners of NuMuBu, and they are very good friends of mine).. I wanted to tell all 3 of them that I went to Anaheim, CA. today, and I was at The Convention Center where The NAMM Convention will be held. I went down to "HALL-E", and also to the Booth Site where NuMuBu will have their Booth at NAMM. It's at Site "1597".
I then went to "The GEWA Booth" (a fantastic Music Company from Germany), and they gave me one of their fantastic Electric Pianos. I have never touched any Piano that is as great as the GEWA Piano. If anyone wants to check out these Pianos, go to "www.gewamusic.com". You will then get to "GEWA music GEWA Piano DP 180". This is the most wonderful Electric Piano I know on this Planet. Check it out..............Bobby

I'm getting ready to attend The NAMM Convention in Anaheim, CA. I'll spend most of my time there at the NuMuBu Booth, because I love what they are planning to do there. The plan to Live-Stream many Musicians at this Booth, so I want to play some songs on the Piano, and Sing Live-Streaming to the World. If any of you plan to go to NAMM, make sure you go to the NuMuBu Booth. It will be a very fun time..........Bobby
